DEATHMOTHTRIBE was created by Malaki Smith, a 25 year old author and musician from southern USA, with the sole purpose of supporting other independent artists. Over the years, Smith would grow his craft until solidifying the collective in 2024, reviving it from just a name to a full pseudo-record label. Today, DEATHMOTHTRIBE is an upcoming group of independent artists sharing a plethora of music styles and sounds, from trap metal to basque to hip-hop and more. DMT closely resembles a record label, with distribution contracts and marketing strategies to push all our artists as much as possible. We do more than just make music, but we also share our lives and experiences with others and uplift everyone in any way. We're currently not only releasing music for artists digitally, but also physically on discs and vinyls, as well as working on a series of short films.
